BUILD YOUR DREAM: INTERESTING DEVELOPMENTS IN CONSTRUCTION AND INTERIOR DESIGN AT ASTANABUILD 2023 EXHIBITION

FROM MAY 24 TO MAY 26, IN ASTANA, AT THE PLATFORM OF THE EXPO IEC, THE 23RD KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION AND INTERIOR EXHIBITION - ASTANABUILD 2023 WAS HELD, WHICH WAS ATTENDED BY 99 COMPANIES FROM 7 COUNTRIES, SUCH AS BELARUS, GERMANY, GEORGIA, KAZAKHSTAN, CHINA, RUSSIA, UAE. DURING THE THREE DAYS OF OPERATION, THE EXPOSITION WAS VISITED BY 1,587 UNIQUE VISITORS, THE INCREASE IN VISITORS COMPARED TO LAST YEAR WAS 57%.

The impressive growth of the exhibition is reflected by dynamically growing indicators. Thus, the exposition area has increased significantly, reaching an increase of 77% compared to the previous year. Not only the exposition area, but also the number of exhibiting companies increased significantly, increasing by 83%. The exposition featured 4 collective stands, these are manufacturers from the Omsk region, the Udmurt Republic, the Chelyabinsk region and 4 manufacturers from Georgia successfully performed under a single collective stand for the first time.

At their stands, the participants presented the most advanced technologies, the latest materials and solutions, as well as methods and standards in the field of construction and interior design, modern materials for construction and repair, tools for design and interior design. Exciting demonstrations and presentations of products and equipment awaited visitors to the exhibition, allowing them to get acquainted live with innovations in the field of construction.

B.M. Zhunisbekov, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Zh.Z. Mankarayev, the Deputy General Director of Gosexpertiza RSE, took part in the exhibition. B.M. Zhunisbekov, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, spoke about the importance of holding the AstanaBuild exhibition for the development and growth of the industry. “The AstanaBuild exhibition is very interesting, I think such events should be held in order to get acquainted with new technologies and materials used in construction. Time does not stand still. I believe that such exhibitions unite manufacturers and stimulate the use of modern materials, as well as help to reduce the cost of construction and improve the quality of construction. Definitely, such platforms are useful for all participants in the construction process”, B.M. Zhunisbekov noted.

In addition, A.V. Loginov, the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation, visited the exposition, noting: “The construction industry is one of the key areas of Russian-Kazakhstani cooperation and occupies a significant share in the trade turnover of our countries. Our markets are similar in their standards, technologies, requirements - this attracts Russian companies to the Kazakhstani market with the offer of their products, the search for partners and platforms for placement. Today, more than 30 organizations participate in the AstanaBuild exhibition, and I hope that as a result of the event, new contacts will be established and mutually beneficial agreements will be concluded”.

AstanaBuild 2023 is not only a place where the latest developments and trends in construction are presented, but also an inspiring platform that contributes to the development of a professional community and the strengthening of business links. So, on May 24, the Forum: “BIM technologies as an effective tool for optimizing the budget in existing facilities” was held. The speakers were experts from Gosexpertiza RSE, CAD.kz LLP, LINEAR GmbH, InnoSim LLP, KAZGOR Design Academy and Turar Healthcare NJSC of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakh Research and Design Institute of Construction and Architecture made reports and presentations on the thermal protection of buildings and the pricing system in construction. On May 25, seminars and master classes were held by the Professional TANU Association (Association of Architects and Designers). The listeners were presented with an exclusive program of speeches from experts from all over Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, Pavlodar, Uralsk, Aktau, Ust-Kamenogorsk). The interest of the audience was aroused by the training seminar of profine RUS. On the final day of the exhibition, May 26, Association of Developers of Kazakhstan ALE held a series of seminars and presentations.
