ASTANABUILD 2022: CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY INDICATOR AND NEW GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

The 22nd Kazakhstan International Construction and Interior Design Exhibition AstanaBuild will open very soon in Nur-Sultan at EXPO IEC from May 25 to 27.

Specialists of construction and interior industries will meet on the same platform with domestic and international producers of services and products, representatives of industry unions and associations, as well as supervising departments of the state apparatus. According to experts, the active phase of growth in construction in Kazakhstan will continue very soon, which makes it important to hold such an expo-event in the capital of our country. Kairbek Uskenbayev, Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted that the construction of 62 million sq. m. of residential facilities is planned for the period of 2022-2025. Also the construction of 5.2 thousand public facilities, of which 2,137 are being built at the expense of budgetary funds.

AstanaBuild Exhibition is traditionally an effective platform for demonstrating the latest materials, services and equipment, including paints, floor coverings, dry building mixes, sandwich panels, pipes and fittings, sewage equipment, roofing and facade materials, PVC and aluminum products, and other building materials. And the content of the business program of the exhibition, which will be held on May 25 and 26, contributes to identifying further vectors of development and productive dialogue on the construction and interior trends in 2023.

More than 30 companies from 5 countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Italy, Russia and Uzbekistan) are exhibitors in 2022. For the first time the following companies will have their stands: Capaccioli, Latun.kz, Novatex.kz, Avansum, BNF service, Raduga Paint Plant, Spetsprom Invest and others.

All the construction business community waiting for an extensive business program, whose main sections will focus on the key issues facing the construction industry on the threshold of the new Kazakhstan. On May 25, the first day of the exhibition, there will be a roundtable discussion: "Development of BIM technology in Kazakhstan. Problems and solutions". The round table will consider the application of digital technologies in the design of industrial and civil buildings, structures and their engineering systems, as well as their successful use on the example of real facilities.  Experts will talk about the benefits of BIM technology at the early design stage, the implementation of digital solutions in the implementation of facilities, the work of organizations in accordance with BIM-standard and anti-corruption aspects of the use of BIM-technology. Among the speakers will be representatives of Gosexpertiza RSE, KAZNIISA JSC, DIPCO LLP, KAZGOR DA and AYACOM LLP integrator of IT solutions and digital transformation.

On May 26, the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan will hold a networking event called "НЕконференция - Unconference", where Union members in a business meeting format will discuss current issues of the construction industry in Kazakhstan.

The 10th Kazakhstan International Occupational Health and Safety Conference and Exhibition KIOSH 2022 and the 9th Kazakhstan International Exhibition of Energy Industry, Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering - PowerExpo Astana 2022 will be held concurrently at the same venue.

The organizer of the event is Iteca Kazakhstan Exhibition Company. Official support for the events is provided annually by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan City Akimat. The event is also supported by professional associations of Kazakhstan: Union of Builders of Kazakhstan, Gosexpertiza RSE, KAZNIISA JSC, KAZGOR Design Academy.
