AstanaBuild 2012 - a high profile event
The 14th International Exhibition Construction “Astana Build 2012” was opened Today on May 23 in Astana.


Opening the exhibition, the First Vice-Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhmetov S.N. said:
“I would like to congratulate the participants and guests with this event. Holding the exhibition in Astana “Astana Build” becomes a tradition. Undoubtedly, the exhibition attracts the public and construction companies. The exhibition provides for participants an opportunity to demonstrate their achievements, to exchange experience in building construction technologies and management.

Each year, the construction sector is updated with new products, machines and techniques to create innovation. I think that visitors and specialists will be able to be presented with new products, which are made in our construction industry.



Round table discussion of the "Affordable Housing - 2020" project draft started the same day. The First Vice-Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhmetov S.N. opened the round table. The First Vice-Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Rau, the President of the Agency for Construction and Housing of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nokin S.K., the deputy chairman of "Samruk-Kazyna" Bishimbayev K. were the speakers at the round table. Organizers of the round table were the Agency for Construction and Housing of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Over 150 exhibitors took part in AstanaBuild this year, representing Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Iran, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Lithuania, Moldova, Finland, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine. 40% of all exhibitors are international companies, and over 60% was showcasing their own production from their stands.
