ASTANABUILD 2026 RESULTS: THE EVENT BROUGHT TOGETHER 95 COMPANIES FROM 8 COUNTRIES AND MORE THAN 3,800 INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS

FROM APRIL 28 TO 30, ASTANA HOSTED THE 26TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION AND INTERIOR EXHIBITION ASTANABUILD 2026, ONCE AGAIN CONFIRMING ITS STATUS AS ONE OF THE KEY INDUSTRY EVENTS IN THE COUNTRY’S CONSTRUCTION SECTOR.

Many participants emphasized the importance of annual participation: “This is our third year participating in the exhibition. We see good results — there are new valuable contacts and genuine interest in our products. I would also like to note that companies approached us at the exhibition with whom we had previously tried to establish cooperation without success. Now we have managed to establish contact, and they are showing interest in cooperation,” noted Alexander Salov, Consultant at PlanRadar.

This year, 95 companies from 8 countries participated in the exhibition, including Kazakhstan, China, the UAE, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and South Korea. At the same time, 28 companies represented domestic business, while 66 represented the international sector, highlighting the high level of global involvement and interest in Kazakhstan’s construction market. Special attention should be paid to the collective stands presented by Russian regions, as well as the national exposition of China, which demonstrated a wide range of products and solutions.

Thanks to this combination of international exhibitors and an active audience, the exhibition became a point of attraction for various market segments. Over the three days, the event welcomed a total of 3,819 professionals (together with the KIOSH and NDT Qazaqstan exhibitions), confirming the growing industry interest in such platforms. Not only participants but also visitors highly appreciated the scale of the event. Arman Akpanbet, CEO of Aluminstroy Kazakhstan: “The exhibition grows year by year, and this is probably the first thing I would like to note. We managed to find the suppliers we were looking for. Chinese partners are actively represented — it is with them that the most productive meetings take place”.

The exhibition featured several new formats and directions. For the first time, a specialized exposition of doors and door hardware was presented with the participation of companies from Kazakhstan, Russia, and China, expanding the thematic scope of the event. The Demo Zone interactive platform attracted significant visitor interest — practical and educational master classes were held there, allowing participants not only to familiarize themselves with new products but also to see their application in real conditions. Additionally, a demonstration of construction tools was organized in the outdoor exposition area, making the exhibition even more visual and practical.

The AstanaBuild 2026 business program traditionally became an important part of the exhibition, bringing together representatives of government bodies, specialized associations, scientific, and educational organizations. On April 28, a Plenary Session on the topic “Construction Code and Industry Digitalization: New Rules, Technologies, and Construction Management in Kazakhstan” was held in cooperation with RSE “Gosexpertiza”. Representatives of key industry institutions took part in the discussion, including KazNIISA JSC, state architectural and construction control authorities, the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan, the National Association of Designers, Urban Center of Astana LLP, and Astana IT University. As part of the business program, a session titled “The Thermal Insulation Materials Market of Kazakhstan: Industry Development, Innovative Solutions, and the Role of the Professional Association” was held by the Association of Thermal Insulation Materials Manufacturers. Seminars by Vellure Central Asia were also conducted.

On April 29, the Professional TANU Association, the Association of Architects and Designers held seminars and master classes.

Thus, AstanaBuild 2026 once again demonstrated its role as an important professional platform contributing to the development of Kazakhstan’s construction sector, the implementation of innovations, and the expansion of international cooperation. High evaluations from participants mean more than any rating — Aidyn Bitay from LCP Building Solutions: “We are pleased that we participated in the exhibition — there are clients here interested in cooperation, and the first interaction results are already visible. I believe that such platforms are a very effective tool for business development. For foreign companies planning to enter the Central Asian market, this is truly a good and convenient way to enter the market and establish first contacts”.

The events received official support from the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Astana, the Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services, RSE “Gosexpertiza,” and KazNIISA JSC.

The event was organized by the Kazakh exhibition company Iteca and its international partner — ICA Events Group.
