Khromtau brick factory is located in the industrial district of Khromtau, Aktobe Oblast. The plant produces face ceramic furring brick of soft-mud molding, the range include ordinary and bonder bricks according to the requirements of GOST 530-2012. Brick is designed for facing and masonry of walls of buildings and structures. Clay from Khromtau clay deposit and kaolin from Karalau deposit are used as raw material. The plant is equipped with Morando company technological line produced in Italy, which ensures high quality of the released products.
The product range includes ceramic furring bricks. Ordinary and bonder bricks, with smooth and grooved surface. Bricks are made by soft-mud molding, all stages of production are automated. The following raw materials are used in production: clay, gas, water. Packaging material: tape, paper and wooden pallets.
Raw materials are supplied from two own deposits, the bentonite clay quarry and kaolin clay open pit mine. The extracted raw materials are stored in the open pit for natural processing of the raw materials, and then mechanical processing takes place, where the clay is crushed, moistened and placed in the feed stock storage facility. The pre-treatment department carries out the primary processing of the raw materials. During the processing, clay is crushed, moistened and moved to the processing units by conveyor lines and then fed for homogenization and maturing into the feed stock storage facility. An aspiration system is included in the process chain to clean dusty air. Using special bag filters, the air is sucked out at the most dusty places (above the runners and rollers). Clay is extracted from the feed stock storage facility by a multi-bucket excavator. To the molding department, clay is delivered by belt conveyors. An important stage in the preparation of the raw material mixture is moistening, mixing and grinding.
Brick is formed by soft-mud molding on a combined vacuum press. The molded brick bar is first cut into measured sections, and then the automatic cutting machine cuts the bar into the specified number of bricks. After curing and homogenization, the raw material is fed to the vacuum forming press. The molded brick bar is first cut into measured sections and then into the specified number of bricks.
