Being the most important large-scale project of the independent Kazakhstan, our capital Astana must introduce the keynote and dynamics in constructional industry, especially in 2011, the year of the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence. As instructed by the President, this jubilee year will be marked by construction of the Children’s Palace, the History Museum, TV and Radio Complex, Haileybury School, a mosque, and a new railway station terminal.

The annual AstanaBuild Exhibition helps towards the attainment of these targets. It is a key event contributing to the establishment of new business contacts, communication of experience, presentation of innovations by top domestic and foreign manufacturers for construction, design and construction materials production, market research and attraction of capital-intensive investments.

I believe that a lot of exhibits presented at AstanaBuild 2011 will be used in implementation of both large-scale state construction programmes and local projects carried out by construction market participants.

Over a distance of thirteen years, AstanaBuild Exhibition has proved itself to be one of the most notable and popular construction-related events in Astana and adjoining regions of Kazakhstan. The status value of this exhibition is predetermined by a wide geography of exhibitors and a full-scale range of advanced construction materials, technologies and services exhibited at AstanaBuild and significantly contributing to further development of mutually beneficial cooperation of Kazakhstan with the CIS and other foreign markets.
